purpose & description
I bought this pink 1950s tulle dress from a local vintage shop for VERY cheap, decided to splurge a little more on a pair of bold Betsey Johnson stilettos, add on a classic pair of pearls and silhouette earrings, finish it with a vintage gold and mother-of-pearl flower brooch, and carry a polka-dotted clutch. A little vintage, a little classic, a little "prom princess", and a little retro.

this is very cute..not sure the shoes quite go with it, but i think the mismatch could be pulled off as it's vintage and quirky! a great find well done!

I agree with Chchms. These items do not complement each other. It is possible to clash in a way that works to bring the items out in a funky way, but personally I do not think that this outfit is an example of that. I absolutely love all three items as separates though. However, if you still want to do some mixing, either stick with the dress+shoes or dress+purse and add in either a nude/pink or yellow/pink bag or leather black pumps if you're gonna stick to the white purse

I actually think the shoes and dress will go well together in a purposeful mismatch kind of way. it will clash, but clashing isnt always bad. I'm not too into the bag, but i think that's just a personal vendetta against black & white polkadots :D haha...

I love all three items. Seperately. All of them are such statement pieces they need to be worn with plainer things than each other .. but they are fantastic!

OMG it's so cute. But I'd change shoes. It's just too much going on. Love the dress so much

I love, love, love that dress. I am so jealous of you right now. I also really love those Betsy Johnson stilettos, but I don't love them together. I think you should go with something a bit more simple especially if you're going to stick with such classic accesories other than the shoes.

True vintage you've got there. Each item by itself is okay but looks great when matched together.
