I got this dress at Glebe markets, for quite a steal ($15) I love the fan paper folds at the bust. the brown belt gave the dress more shape. looked quite a bit dressy, how do u think I cud dress it down?

1.)wear the dress over jeans with a cardigan if it's chilly, belt over both. metallic flats 2.)dress with fitted jean jacket, opaque tights, and flat boots 3.)shrunken leather motorcycle jacket with leather ankle boots

What a great find! The belt was a nice touch, which definitely helps you achieve a more casual look. I like the idea of a long sweater to keep it in season with a pair of gold flats to keep it casual.

I LOVE the belt with it! You could dress it down by pairing it with those thong sandals that have ankle straps connected to it, and wearing your hair down in loose beach waves.

very cute! during the winter you can dress it down by throwing a long cardigan-type sweater over it to give it that casual chic look. love the belt! keep that layer over the sweater possibly too.

Cool dress, for a more casual look i´d pair it with tights and a t-shirt under your dress

That dress is hot...love the brown belt...really makes the whole look come together. I am a big fan of the long thin boyfriend cardigan. It will dress anything down. Look at thge tracy Reese runway show from Fall 2008...you'll see what I mean. I would definitely not wear this over jeans tho...you'd be lost. To dress down, it's also all about the shoes. Flats, gladiators, boots, or booties would do the trick.
