This top is cool. It would look awesome with a pencil skirt and heels. A funky watch from Swatch would also look great with the top and Levis combo.

Cute top and I like the color. But a blak skirt with flats or sandals probably would make this look more summery. And I'm always an advocate of using accessories to jazz up your wardrobe -- a cool handbag with dangly earrings would have been a nice accent.

I don't think that this color is good for you, but if you want to keep it then do a lighter jean. The dark jeans wiegh donwn the outfit. I think a fun flare white skirt would look great with flats (since you were just going to a friends house).
