purpose & description
I work is a semi-casual office, and often have to run out and around town a lot, so I like to wear stuff that's comfy. I picked up this pleated skirt at a thrift store and wear it a lot because it's breezy, comfortable and stylish. The jacket is pinstriped (you can't tell) so I'm ready for a interview at a moment's notice and I wore a plain white tank under it. You can't see, but I'm wearing pointy toy stilettos with it. I'm sort of stuck on what sort of jewelry to wear with it. What do you think?

I agree that the length and shape of the skirt doesn't flatter your body. Pleated skirts are difficult to wear - too long doesn't flatter your calve length and too short makes you look like a school girl. Knee length would be a better fit but a pencil skirt, as suggested below, would be ideal especially with the stilettos. I love the length of the jacket and sleeves. That's something you can wear with jeans, too.

To be honest, the length of the skirt is not right for you. The color scheme is great though--I love wearing red black and white together (it's a classic color combo). But, try finding a more flattering skirt for your frame. Even a red pencil skirt. If you can't find that style in red, buy a classic black one and add a bright colored top under your jacket. As far as jewelry goes for the outfit you have on in the picture, I would suggest a long layered necklace and possible some sort of bangle bracelet. (But I still recommend changing the shape of the skirt to flatter your cute figure!)

I love the color of the skirt. Maybe you can have it altered so you don't look frumpy. Then you can pair it with a boatneck top. Black, electric blue or white would look nice. I wouldn't wear a blazer with it.
